Hello Reader,
Everyone always heard the saying "Hard Work Pays Off" I never understood this concept until just recently. I have been attending my University for four years now, worked two and sometimes three jobs throughout my college career. I have had multiple internships trying to get my foot into the accounting door, joined multiple clubs to gain recognition and now finally my time has come. Just recently I was offered to work for EisnerAmper LLP. a very well established accounting firm. I will be starting there right after I graduate in January 2013 as a staff accountant in the tax department. However, I was even lucky enough to have worked with them this past tax season, and the amount of information learned from the internship was astounding. I completed multiple 1040's, 1041 tax returns. I also had exposure to completing 1120 and 1065 tax returns and extensions, which all can be applied when I start working full time. I love the work environment and my co-workers and I am happy to announce that they I wil be interning again starting on May 10th primarily concentrating on 1120's. This feeling of accomplishment is a direct result of Hard Work finally paying off.
