As September 1st approaches, so does the new school year for 2011-2012. I find that this year will be one of my most challenging years of college yet. I will be taking 18 credits at my University, along with have two jobs and one internship for the Fall Semester. My friends and family fear for me since they think that is too much to take on, but for some odd reason I am excited for the days that lay ahead of me.
I look to this Semester as a test to myself. If I can overcome having 18 credits, basically 3 jobs, be a part of clubs, maintain my physical activities, and have a normal social life, then there is nothing that I can not do as an individual. At some points the road will get difficult, but I just have to remind myself why I put myself through things like this. And the reason I do this is simply because I want to make something out of myself.
