CPA Exam

Hi All,

My wife has a baccalaureate degree in social science (law and society major ) and she is thinking of going back to school for a minor in accounting. I assume that she will need 150 credits with 30 credits in accounting and 24 credits in business courses. Is she going to be allowed to sit for the exam once she has completed 150 credits and while she is still in progress with the accounting and business classes, or she has to have everything completed to sit for the exam? I understand that if she is allowed to sit for the exam she won't be getting the CPA license until she meets all the requirements.
Thanks

Aleksander, your wife only needs 120 credits and a bachelors degree to sit for the exam. Here's more information - http://www.njscpa.org/index/students/full-article/2011/10/26/update-on-cpa-exam-requirements-in-new-nbsp-jersey. In order to get her license, she needs to complete 150 credits and meet the requirements. Here is more information - http://www.njscpa.org/index/students/cpa-exam/requirements.
