As many of us are aware, administrators plan an important role in the management of an accounting firm. But they also play an important role in the relationship between the NJSCPA and the hundreds of small, medium and large firms that employ our 15,500 members.
To strengthen that bond between administrators and the Society, we're working with the New Jersey Chapter of the
Association for Accounting Administration. Step one was the creation of a
Firm Administration section of the NJSCPA website. The first phase of this section - Membership Renewal - is now up and running. We're looking forward to rolling out more functionality in the coming months, including a firm roster where you can add, update and delete people from your firm, and a CPE registration tool where a firm administrator can register multiple staff for multiple events in a single transaction.
Additionally, NJSCPA On-site Training Specialist Sharon Drucker and New Jersey Chapter President Janine Zirrith of Wilkin & Guttenplan are organizing a
Firm Administrators Appreciation Breakfast on Thursday, September 23, 8:30am-10:00am at the Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel in Iselin. Let us know if you would like to attend or have your firm administrator attend the breakfast.
