Is PMI deductible in 2018

Hello,

I thought I read that PMI is deductible for 2018 income tax returns. . Articles mention this. IRS.gov/Extenders. does not discuss this. What is the answer?

There's been no extension of the provision.  IRC Section 163(h)(3)(E)(iv)  still provides that the deduciton 
 ...shall not apply to amounts—
(I) paid or accrued after December 31, 2017, or
(II) properly allocable to any period after such date.
