The holiday season is in full swing, and between rushed trips to the mall and appearances at countless holiday parties, it can be difficult to remember the true meaning of the holidays. The holiday season is a time to gather with our friends and families to give thanks for the many blessings we have received during the year. I am thankful for the support of our more than 15,000 members, and I am especially grateful for the dedication and friendship of the Society staff.
As Executive Director of the New Jersey Society of CPAs, when I reflect on the past year I am proud of the significant progress we have made as an organization and profession, and I know the challenges we have faced are only stepping stones to a stronger year ahead.
On behalf of our Society leadership and staff, please accept our best wishes to you and your loved ones for a joyous holiday season and a happy, prosperous and peaceful New Year.
I'll conclude by asking that we not forget the men and women - and their families - who are defending our country from stations around the world. Please say a prayer for those who have sacrificed so much, even given their lives, to ensure our freedom and way of life.
